Hudson Integrative Healthcare is pleased to welcome Registered Psychotherapist Sarah Prashad, who is joining our growing mental health team alongside Registered Psychotherapist Breanne Griffin.
Sarah offers virtual psychotherapy services, expanding access to care for individuals across Ontario who are looking to strengthen their mental wellness and overall quality of life.
Sarah takes a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to therapy. She works closely with individuals to build self-awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns, and step outside their comfort zones in meaningful ways.
As a former collegiate softball player at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Sarah has a special interest in supporting current and former athletes, active individuals, and those looking to intentionally integrate wellness into their daily lives. She understands the mental demands that can come with performance expectations, injuries, burnout, identity shifts, and major life transitions.
In addition to working with athletes and active individuals, Sarah also supports individuals navigating concerns such as:
- Anxiety
- Self-esteem
- ADHD
- Life transitions
- Women’s mental health
Psychotherapy as Part of Whole-Body Wellness
Mental health plays an important role in overall wellbeing. At Hudson Integrative Healthcare, psychotherapy is an important part of our collaborative, whole-person approach to care.
Psychotherapy can help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours while developing practical tools to manage stress, build resilience, and improve relationships. When combined with other services such as naturopathic care, chiropractic care, or osteopathy, psychotherapy can support a more holistic approach to health—recognizing the strong connection between the mind and body.
The Benefits of Virtual Therapy
Sarah’s virtual sessions make it easier to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Virtual therapy allows individuals to:
- Attend sessions without commuting or disrupting their daily schedule
- Access care from anywhere in Ontario
- Feel more comfortable in their own environment during therapy
- Maintain consistency in care even during busy or changing routines
